In this period Phil met his now wife Lucy and commenced studying a Masters of Labour Law and Relations at the University of Sydney. Phil then moved to Optus where he held a variety of HR roles and completed his Masters. In 2013 Phil joined Challenger to extend his experience into the Financial Services industry and continued to develop his strong reputation as a HR Leader and HR Partner.
After 6 years at Challenger, most recently as the Head of Human Resources for Challenger Life, Corporate, and Distribution, Product and Marketing. Phil decided to take the leap and set up Partale in 2020 to follow his passion of scaling businesses through fit for purpose HR consulting practices.
When not taking care of his clients, Phil enjoys spending time with his wife Lucy, daughters Polly and Grace, and dog Maisy. He is an avid traveller, enjoys eating out and exploring Sydney.
